Notes for teachers

Use this test after introducing dative forms and the prepositions aus, bei, mit, nach, seit, von, zu and gegenüber. It targets frequent A2 errors: accusative forms after dative prepositions and verbs (mit meine, gefällt mich), the missing -n in the dative plural, and confusion between wen and wem. As a follow-up, have learners write sentences with geben, schenken or zeigen using both a dative and an accusative object.
