This 30-question A2 Spanish grammar test practises the two main ways to talk about the future: ir a + infinitive and the simple future tense. It covers regular and irregular forms, negatives, questions, pronoun position and time expressions. It suits learners who want to check their accuracy and teachers who need a ready-to-print assessment.
Use Part 1 and Part 2 to check form separately, then Part 3 to see whether learners can combine and recognise both structures in context. The test targets typical A2 errors: leaving out the preposition a (voy comprar), conjugating the infinitive after ir a, regularising irregular stems (teneré, poderá) and wrong subject–verb agreement. As a follow-up, ask students to write five plans for next weekend with ir a and five predictions about the future with the simple future.
