Notes for teachers
Give students about 15 minutes per text, or use one section as a short in-class task. Many questions target typical C1 traps: options that repeat words from the text but distort the meaning, and literal readings of figurative language such as 'quietly radical' or 'the prompter's box'. Afterwards, ask students to find and underline the exact evidence for each answer. As a follow-up, they could write a response to the email or a short opinion paragraph on repair culture.
