Parte 3: El Past Simple en una historia

Lee la historia. Después elige la palabra correcta para cada hueco numerado (21–30).

Last Saturday, Priya and her brother Daniel (21) ___ to visit a small village in the mountains. They (22) ___ up very early and caught the bus at six o'clock. The journey (23) ___ three hours, so Priya read a book and Daniel slept.

When they arrived, it (24) ___ cold and windy. They (25) ___ a map at the tourist office and walked to a lake. Daniel (26) ___ his hands in the water, but it was very cold! At lunchtime they ate soup in a little café. Unfortunately, Priya (27) ___ her umbrella at home, and in the afternoon it started to rain.

Este test de gramática inglesa de nivel A2 evalúa el pasado simple (Past Simple) con verbos regulares e irregulares: ortografía, oraciones negativas, preguntas y respuestas cortas. Está pensado para alumnos que ya conocen las formas básicas y quieren usarlas correctamente en frases y en relatos breves. En la última parte hay que completar una pequeña narración.

Cómo usar este examen

Notas para el profesor

Utiliza este test después de trabajar las formas regulares e irregulares del Past Simple o como prueba diagnóstica al comienzo de una unidad. Se centra en errores típicos del nivel A2, como 'didn't went' o 'did you went', formas regularizadas por error como 'buyed' o 'goed', y la confusión entre was/were y did. Corrige en clase los ejercicios de detección de errores y de formación de preguntas; después, pide a los alumnos que escriban cinco frases sobre su último fin de semana usando al menos tres verbos irregulares.
