Last month, Daniel and his sister Amira looked for a new flat in the city.

The first flat was near the station, but it was too noisy. Trains went past all night. The second flat was quiet, but it wasn't big enough for two people. It had only one small bedroom. The third flat was perfect, but the rent was too expensive. They didn't have enough money.

Finally, they found a flat near a park. It was big enough, quiet enough and not too expensive, so they took it. There is only one problem: the kitchen is too small for both of them to cook at the same time!

  1. Why didn't they take the first flat?

  2. What was the problem with the second flat?

  3. Why couldn't they rent the third flat?

  4. Which sentence about the flat near the park is true?

  5. What is the problem with the kitchen?

Notas para el profesor

Utiliza este test después de presentar too y enough, o como repaso antes de un examen de la unidad. Se centra en los errores más frecuentes en el nivel A2: colocar enough delante del adjetivo (enough old), confundir too much y too many, usar too en lugar de very y emplear formas incorrectas después de too/enough, como for buy o for to me. Como actividad de seguimiento, pide a los alumnos que describan objetos del aula o de su casa usando too y not ... enough, y que después corrijan las frases de sus compañeros.
