Notes for teachers

Use this test after teaching conditional forms and si-clauses, or as a diagnostic before revision. It targets common B1 errors: confusing -rai (futur) with -rais (conditionnel), regularising irregular stems (*voirions, *fairait), and using the conditional after si (*si j'aurais). It also checks person endings and negative word order. As a follow-up, ask students to write five sentences beginning 'Si j'étais…' and five polite requests for a shop or hotel.
