Notes for teachers

Use Part 1 to check the basic subject/object distinction before moving on to dont and où. The test targets typical B1 errors: using que instead of qui before a verb, dropping the elision in qu'elle, adding a possessive after dont (dont ses), using dont with direct-object verbs such as aimer, and forgetting participle agreement after que. As a follow-up, ask students to write short descriptions of a person, a place and a memorable day, using each pronoun at least twice.
