Notes for teachers
Allow about 50 minutes without dictionaries. A score of 40 or more suggests the learner is secure at B1, 30–39 suggests B1 is still being consolidated, and below 30 suggests A2 review is needed. The test targets common errors such as past participle agreement, choosing between passé composé and imparfait, the order of double pronouns, and subjunctive triggers. Afterwards, review the most frequently missed items and ask learners to retell the reading text orally.
