Use Part 1 as a warm-up on a/an, then move to the harder choices in Parts 2 and 3. The test targets typical A1 errors: 'a' before vowel sounds, 'an' before 'university', leaving out the article with jobs, and adding 'the' to sports, meals and languages. As a follow-up, ask learners to describe their home or family in five sentences and underline every article.
