Notes for teachers

Use Part 1 for present wishes, Part 2 for past regrets and Part 3 for mixed practice and error spotting, either as a whole test or as separate warm-ups. The test targets frequent B2 errors: using present tenses after wish, *I wish I would*, *wish + would have* instead of the past perfect, and confusing wish with hope. As a follow-up, ask students to write three wishes about their present life and three regrets about the past, then swap and correct each other's sentences.
