Notes for teachers

The test moves from basic tense sequences to mixed conditionals and connectors that change mood or meaning. It targets the most frequent B2 errors: using the future or conditional after si, forgetting the elision s'il, choosing the wrong auxiliary or agreement in the plus-que-parfait, and using the indicative after à condition que or au cas où. As a follow-up, ask learners to rewrite Part 2 sentences as real regrets with si seulement, or to write short personal 'Si j'avais...' paragraphs.
