Notes for teachers

Use this test after revising the avoir/être agreement rules, or as a diagnostic before a C1/DALF writing module. It targets typical advanced errors: agreeing with a direct object placed after the verb, mishandling pronominal verbs with an indirect se (se parler, se succéder), and over-agreeing with en, impersonal verbs, fait + infinitive and implied infinitives. As a follow-up, ask students to justify each answer by identifying the direct object and its position, then proofread a short text of their own for agreement errors.
