Notes for teachers
Use the test as a 60-minute placement check. A score of 40/50 or more suggests the learner is secure at C1, 30–39 indicates a consolidating C1 learner, and below 30 suggests B2 work is still needed. The items target typical advanced errors such as indicative after concessive conjunctions, the pleonasm « c'est de cela dont », dangling infinitive clauses and participle agreement with pronominal verbs. Review missed items by category and follow up with targeted practice on the subjunctive and relative pronouns.
