Notes for teachers

Use this test after introducing the present tense of high-frequency irregular verbs. The distractors target typical A1 errors: regularising yo forms (*teno, *salo, *sabo), applying the stem change to nosotros/vosotros forms (*juegamos), forgetting the stem change (*quere, *dormen), confusing ser and estar, and putting 'no' in the wrong place. For follow-up, ask learners to write five true sentences about their weekly routine using verbs from Part 2, then swap and correct each other's work.
