Notes for teachers

Part 1 checks the core meaning of each preposition, Part 2 focuses on typical A2 errors (go to home, arrive to, got out the taxi, got off the car), and Part 3 tests the prepositions in a realistic set of directions. After the test, learners can draw a simple map and write their own directions to their home using at least eight different prepositions. A quick mime or TPR game with classroom objects works well for remembering across, through, along and past.
