Salut Sofia !

Lucas

How to use this test

  1. Download the PDF and print it, or take the test online below.
  2. Answer every question without a dictionary or time pressure.
  3. Check your answers and note the topics you need to review.

Notes for teachers

Give learners about 40 minutes without dictionaries. A score of 32/40 or more suggests the learner is secure at A1; 24-31 shows gaps to revise; below 24 suggests consolidating A1 basics. The test targets typical beginner errors such as verb endings after nous/vous, 'le' vs 'de' after aimer, possessive agreement (son/ses) and adjective agreement. Review wrong answers together and use the reading text for a follow-up writing task: learners reply to Lucas's email.
