Notes for teachers

Use this test after introducing basic question forms, or as a diagnostic at the start of an A1 course. It targets common beginner errors: missing elision in est-ce qu', confusing qu'est-ce que with est-ce que, missing hyphens or -t- in inversion, wrong agreement of quel, combien without de, and answering oui instead of si to a negative question. As a follow-up, have students interview each other using the questions from Part 3 and then rewrite them in all three forms.
