Salut Théo,

Je suis à Nice depuis lundi ! J'adore cette ville et j'y reste jusqu'à dimanche. Ma tante Nadia habite ici. Je la vois tous les jours et je l'aide un peu dans son restaurant. Les clients sont sympas : je leur apporte les plats et ils me parlent souvent de leurs vacances.

Hier, j'ai acheté des cartes postales. J'en ai envoyé une à mes parents, mais je ne leur ai pas encore téléphoné. Ce soir, je vais leur parler.

Et toi, tu as trouvé ton nouveau vélo ? Tu l'as essayé ? Écris-moi vite !

Bises,

How to use this test

  1. Download the PDF and print it, or take the test online below.
  2. Answer every question without a dictionary or time pressure.
  3. Check your answers and note the topics you need to review.

Notes for teachers

The test moves from choosing the right pronoun to placing it correctly, then to understanding pronouns in a short text. It targets typical A2 errors: confusing le/la/les with lui/leur, using le/les instead of en with quantities and partitives, missing elision (le ai, ne y), and placing the pronoun after the verb in negatives or before the infinitive's helping verb. As a follow-up, ask students to rewrite the email in Part 4 replacing pronouns with full nouns, or to write short dialogues answering questions with y and en.
