Notes for teachers

Use this test after teaching tense changes and the subjunctive in reported commands. It targets typical B2 errors: using the indicative instead of the imperfect subjunctive after verbs such as pedir or decir, wrongly adding 'si' before question words, leaving out the accent on interrogatives, and forgetting to change pronouns and time expressions. As follow-up, ask students to report a short dialogue or interview orally, then in writing, using a range of reporting verbs.
