The test moves from consolidated B1/B2 grammar to more demanding structures and vocabulary, then finishes with a reading task. As a rough guide, a score of 40 or more suggests a secure B2 level, 30–39 a developing B2, and below 30 indicates the learner should consolidate B1. Distractors target typical errors: indicative after expressions of emotion or doubt, the future after cuando or si, dequeísmo, false friends such as realizar, and calques such as hacer una decisión. Review any section where a learner scores poorly with targeted practice on mood choice and time clauses.
