Notes for teachers

Start by brainstorming jobs and places in town on the board, then let learners work through the exercises in order, checking in pairs. Typical mistakes are forgetting 'a/an' before jobs (She is engineer), using 'a' before vowels (a artist) and missing the -s in 'he works'. As a follow-up, learners can interview a partner with 'What do you do? Where do you work?' or draw and describe a map of their town.
