About this test

Printable A1 English vocabulary worksheet on home, family and daily routine: family words, rooms, routine collocations and word forms, with answers.

Topics covered

Family membersRooms in a houseDaily routine collocationsPresent simple he/she/itIrregular plurals

Notes for teachers

Start with the matching exercise as a warm-up, perhaps with a simple family tree on the board. Learners often say 'make homework' instead of 'do homework' and 'go to home' instead of 'go home'. They also forget the -s or -es ending with he/she/it. As a follow-up, ask learners to write five sentences about their own daily routine and draw their home with labelled rooms.
