Notes for teachers

Start with a quick oral warm-up: write numbers and clock times on the board and ask learners to read them aloud. Common mistakes include spelling (fourty, fiveteen), irregular ordinals (twelveth, fiveth) and confusing past and to. As a follow-up, learners can interview each other about birthdays and daily routines (When is your birthday? What time do you get up?).
