Notes for teachers

Use this test after teaching comparatives and superlatives, or as a diagnostic before revision. It targets typical A2 errors: double comparatives (more busy, most happiest), wrong spelling (thiner, busyest), 'than' instead of 'as' in as…as, and missing 'the' with superlatives. For follow-up, ask students to compare three classmates, cities or products in writing, using one comparative, one superlative and one as…as sentence each.
