Notes for teachers

Use this test after introducing the accusative with direct objects and the prepositions durch, für and ohne. It targets typical A1 errors: using der or ein instead of den or einen, adding -en to neuter and feminine nouns, confusing ihn and ihm, and mixing up wer and wen. As a follow-up, have learners write five sentences about their shopping list with einen, eine, ein and kein, then swap the nouns for pronouns.
