Printable A1 Spanish worksheet on the present tense of regular -ar, -er and -ir verbs, with negatives, questions and answers.
Before starting, put the endings for hablar, comer and vivir on the board and have learners read them aloud. Typical mistakes are using the yo ending with other subjects, missing the accent in -áis/-éis, and putting no after the verb. Learners also often use -emos instead of -imos for -ir verbs. As a follow-up, pairs can interview each other with five yes/no questions such as ¿Hablas…? or ¿Vives…? and then report back using the third person.
