About this test

Notes for teachers

Start with Exercise 1 to activate clothes words, then use Exercises 2 and 5 as preparation for a shop role-play. Learners often confuse wear and carry, and they add a preposition after fit and suit (fit to me, suits to you). Plural-only nouns like trousers and jeans also cause mistakes. As a follow-up, students can role-play a customer and a shop assistant, using at least five phrases from the worksheet.
