Give the test without dictionaries and allow about 40 minutes. A score of 32/40 or more suggests the learner is secure at A2; 24-31 means some A2 areas need revision; below 24 suggests consolidating A1-A2 basics first. The items target common errors such as missing agreement with être in the passé composé, 'plus bon' instead of 'meilleur', confusing les/leur, and 'de' vs 'du' after a list. For follow-up, ask learners to correct their wrong answers and write their own sentences using the structures they missed.
