Notes for teachers

Start with the matching exercise to check meaning, then move to collocations and word forms before the freer transformation task. Typical mistakes include confusing passer (to take) and réussir (to pass) an exam, adding à after rater, and using démissionner instead of licencier. As a follow-up, ask learners to role-play a short job interview or write a brief lettre de motivation using at least eight words from the worksheet.
