Notes for teachers
Give learners about 50 minutes without dictionaries. A score of 40 or more suggests a learner is secure at B1, 30–39 suggests consolidation is needed, and below 30 points to A2 review. The test targets typical B1 errors: verb position after deshalb and in subordinate clauses, dative and genitive endings, n-declension, fixed prepositions and confusing denn and weil. For follow-up, ask learners to correct and explain their wrong answers in pairs, then revisit the weakest section.
