Notes for teachers
Use the test as a 60-minute placement check. A score of about 40/50 or higher suggests a learner is secure at C1, and 30–39 suggests consolidation is needed. The items target typical advanced-level errors: Konjunktiv I in reported speech, double-infinitive word order, case after genitive prepositions, fixed noun–verb collocations and the subjective use of modal verbs. Go over wrong answers by category, and follow up with practice on nominal style and prepositional verbs.
