Allow about 45 minutes and count one point per question. A score of 32 or more suggests the learner is secure at A2. A score of 24–31 suggests gaps to review, and below 24 points to A1 consolidation. The test targets typical A2 errors: ser/estar, gustar with plural nouns, irregular first-person forms (salgo), preterite versus imperfect, irregular participles (hecho), and object pronoun agreement (las, le). As follow-up, have learners write a short blog post like the reading text using past tenses and future plans.
