Have you sent the invitation to Mr and Mrs Okafor yet? They're our new neighbours, and I don't think they've ever been to a party in our building. Oh, and Felipe has never tried Brazilian food, so I want to cook my mum's recipe for him!

Notes for teachers

Use this test after teaching the present perfect with ever, never, just, already and yet, or as a review. It focuses on typical A2 errors: has/have agreement, irregular past participles (went/gone, swam/swum, put), double negatives, and the wrong position of yet and just. For follow-up, ask students to write their own 'Have you ever...?' questions and interview a partner, or to write a to-do list using already, just and yet.
