Notes for teachers

Use this test after learners have practised the present continuous in speaking. It targets typical A1 errors: a missing or wrong form of be, 'do' in questions, and wrong -ing spelling (runing, danceing). Part 4 also asks learners to separate actions happening now from habits. As a follow-up, learners can describe a busy picture or their classroom using the present continuous.
