Notes for teachers

Start by contrasting plans (Voy a estudiar) with general predictions and promises (Estudiaré, Te llamaré), then work through the exercises in order. Typical mistakes are leaving out the preposition a (voy estudiar), conjugating the infinitive after ir a, building regular forms for irregular verbs (tenerá, haceré), and forgetting written accents (hablare instead of hablaré). As a follow-up, ask learners to write five sentences about their plans for next weekend with ir a and five predictions about life in 2050 with the simple future.
